FIRST TIMER?
HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT.

01

BOOK YOUR CLASS

02

What to bring?

An open-minded attitude. We also require grip socks for your safety on the Megaformer. Don’t have any? Don’t worry, we offer a great selection in the studio for purchase. Bring a water bottle or buy one from us. We have dressing rooms available with plenty of essentials to freshen up.

03

Come early

Please arrive to class 10 minutes early for an overview of the Megaformer. This is also an opportunity to ask questions and inform us of any injuries. You’ll put your belongings in our cubbies.

For liability and safety reasons, you must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your first class. If you are late, you will be removed from class and the credit will go back to your account.

04

Expect some confusion

It’s normal to not understand all the cues and move names during your first class. During the workout, you will be moved through a sequence of slow and controlled movements, as well as fast transitions from one exercise to the next allowing you to maintain an elevated heart rate. Be patient with yourself as you learn the workout. Our instructors will assist you and our small class sizes allow for lots of personal attention.

05

Come Back!

Your first few classes will be challenging regardless of your fitness abilities. Consistency is key. DON’T EXPECT IT TO GET EASIER. EXPECT TO GET STRONGER. We recommend taking 3-4 classes per week.

Lagree is designed to work your muscles to the point of fatigue. While there is no magic number, we recommend taking Lagree 3-4 times a week. However, some clients love the workout so much that they come 5-6 times a week. This all depends on your current fitness level and the intensity of your workouts. Everyone is different and recovers at different rates. Please remember rest is extremely important for your body.

We have an 8 hour cancellation policy. You can cancel up to 8 hours before your class starts.

If you cancel within the 8 hour late cancellation period, your account will be charged a $15 late cancellation fee.

If you do not late cancel and do not show up for your class, your account will be charged a $20 no show fee and you will lose your class. If you have an unlimited membership and do not show up for your class, your account will be charged a $20 no show fee. There are no exceptions to this rule.

If a class you’d like to take is full, we definitely recommend putting yourself on the waitlist. In order to do so, you must purchase a class or package. If you do not get a spot in the class, the class credit will be returned to your account. If a spot opens, you will be added to the class and receive an email or text confirmation (depending on your notification settings).

All of our classes have an 8-hour cancellation policy. If you’re added to a class from the waitlist at the last minute, please know the 8-hour cancellation still applies. If you no longer want a spot in the class, you will need to remove yourself from the waitlist at least 8 hours prior to the class. If you are added to the class and do not remove yourself in time, your account will be charged $15.00 and the class will be credited to your account. If you are added to the class and you no-show, your account will be charged $20 and you will lose the class.

We have cubbies for you to store your personal belongings. We also have dressing rooms available with plenty of essentials to freshen up.
Our signature 50 minute class consists of total body strengthening in an inspiring, small-group setting.

The short answer is no. Though both workouts are low impact, Lagree is performed at a much higher intensity and can only be accomplished using the Lagree House Megaformer. Most who come from a pilates background never look back after trying one Lagree class.
